Privacy Policy
This policy describes Doniput, a road desk for stops, readings, and miles forward. It was written for Doniput and applies to the Doniput app.
What Doniput stores
Doniput stores the drives you open, the stops and readings you save, notes, photographs, horns, a display name, a portrait if you choose one, and Spoke balances that come from purchases. Those records stay in the app storage on the phone.
Camera
Doniput asks for the camera when you tap Take a photograph. The photograph is kept on that stop.
Photo library
Doniput asks to read the photo library when you tap Choose a photograph or Choose a portrait. Doniput asks to add to the photo library when you tap Save this photograph, so a stop photograph can be saved into Photos.
Microphone
Doniput asks for the microphone when you tap Keep a horn. The horn is kept on that stop.
Notifications
After you continue from the welcome screen, Doniput asks for notification permission. If you later pick a reminder hour and permission is allowed, Doniput can schedule one local reminder titled Doniput with the line Look at the dash. Clear Data removes that reminder.
Purchases
Spokes are bought through Apple. Apple processes the payment. Doniput records the Spoke balance that results from a completed purchase. Doniput does not receive your payment card number.
What Doniput does not collect
Doniput does not ask you to create an account. Doniput does not send stop photographs or horns to a Doniput server. Doniput does not use tracking.
